On the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, a letter has been sent to the DSW asking to vacate the hostel. The letter issued appealed to all the students to vacate the hostel. In view of the increasing cases, the University feels that hostels can also be temporarily converted into hospitals in the coming days. It has been written in the letter that, there has been increasing cases and shortage of beds in the hospital, and the Disaster Management Act is in force in the state and this act has been imposed to deal with the disaster.

Because there is a shortage of beds in the hospitals, the hostels should be temporarily converted into hospitals. Due to the same corona, Allahabad University examinations have been made online and due to security, students should be safe at home, and vacate hostels.
