Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s movie Brahmastra is already hit the theatre and as per some reports, it had earned 360 crores in worldwide. The duo is currently enjoying the success of their film. This year various Big Budget Bollywood movies including Rakshabandhan, Laal Singh Chadda, and Liger failed on Box office. This movie were called for Boycott and various people linked the Box office failure with the Boycott. Brahmastra also called for Boycott but the film is doing well on Box office. Alia speaking about the pressure on film and the support they get from Industry said, "I don't think I have ever gotten so many 'all the best' messages before a film. Everyone was wishing and praying for the film to do well...That spirit of the industry even before the release was very special to witness." Ranbir Kapoor also said, "On the first Friday, we also saw so many actors going to the theatres to see the film. That was also such a heartwarming site to see, to see that kind of support. Because actors usually ask for a trial or see it in the comfort of their home. We felt there was a lot of support...because there was so much negativity towards movies and things going-on on social media so everybody was just waiting for good energy to be back at the movies." Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukherji has been in the making for a while now. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor this movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy along with special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone The film was made at a budget of Rs 410 crore, making it the most expensive film of Hindi cinema. Previously, this record was held by YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan which was made at around Rs 310 crore.
