HYDERABAD: Amit Shah, the Home Minister, highlighted Sardar Patel's pivotal role in freeing Telangana from the grip of Razakars and Nizams during a recent address in Hyderabad. Speaking at BJP's election rallies in Jangaon and Korutla, Shah criticized the KCR government for neglecting Hyderabad Liberation Day due to pressure from MIM. He pledged that if the BJP assumes power in Telangana, September 17 will be officially commemorated as Hyderabad Liberation Day. Shah paid homage to the valiant individuals who sacrificed their lives fighting against Razakars in Bairanpally village. He announced plans to mark the Bairanpally massacre on August 27 as 'Razakar Horrors' Remembrance Day and proposed the construction of a memorial at Bairanpally to honor the martyrs. Accusing the KCR administration of being the most corrupt in the nation, Shah vowed to investigate all alleged scams and imprison the perpetrators once the BJP governs the state. He criticized the government's minority appeasement policies, promising to revoke the four percent reservation for Muslims and enhance the reservation for BCs, SCs, and STs. Shah emphasized that the upcoming election would determine Telangana's and the country's direction for the next five years, alleging that KCR failed to fulfill his commitments. He assured that if the BJP takes office, the Chief Minister would hail from backward classes and pledged justice for the Madigas by providing them a specific quota. Taking aim at BRS, MIM, and Congress for their dynastic governance, Shah referred to them as 2G, 3G, and 4G parties respectively. He asserted BJP's representation as the party of the people of Telangana. Shah lauded India's enhanced global stature under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, citing the successful hosting of the G20 conference as an example. He highlighted the symbolic significance of the new Parliament construction, equating it with the eradication of symbols of subjugation, and praised the Chandrayaan mission for carrying the tricolor to the moon.
