Balakot air strike completes two years, Amit Shah salutes martyrs of Pulwama attack

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said about the Pulwama attack that India has set a good example by taking effective action against the Pulwama attack in 2019. He can take tough decisions in honor of his soldiers. Amit Shah also tweeted today on the completion of two years of the Balakot airstrike.

Amit Shah tweeted from his official Twitter handle saying that "On this day in 2019, the Indian Air Force had clarified its policy against terrorism of New India by responding to the Pulwama terror attack. I remember the brave martyrs of Pulwama and salute the valor of the Air Force. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi ji, the security of the country and our soldiers is paramount.” On this day (26 February), two years ago, the Indian Air Force started bombing in Balakot from the sky. In this airstrike of the Indian Air Force, not only the whereabouts of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed were destroyed, but more than 250 terrorists were also killed.

Tributes were paid to 40 soldiers who received Veergati in the Pulwama terror attack on the day of 14 February. In this sequence, CRPF also paid tribute to the martyrs in Jammu and Kashmir and remembered them. The IG of CRPF Kashmir said that “CRPF has changed a lot in the last two years." Our preparations are such that the terrorists can be given a befitting reply.” Martyrs were given a salute on this occasion. An official said that "They were martyred protecting this country. We should be proud of such soldiers."
