HYDERABAD: Home minister Amit Shah will take part in a meeting with professionals at Sangareddy during his visit to the Hyderabad on March 12, party sources said. The venue was finalised at Sangareddy as the model code of conduct is in force in Hyderabad for the Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad teachers’ constituency Legislative Council election. He will attend the interaction after participating in an event at the Central Industrial Security Force campus. Professionals would be invited to the meeting with Shah, BJP state leaders, including academics, doctors, engineers, and chartered accountants. According to reports, the party leadership would ask the guests for suggestions on how to make the BJP stronger in the state. The visit comes around ten days after Shah met with Telangana BJP leaders in New Delhi on February 28. After the 18-day street corner meetings were over, Shah spoke with the core committee about a number of topics, including the Praja Gosa-BJP Bharosa initiative. As per reports, Shah promised the leaders that he would focus on Telangana in order to guarantee the BJP's victory in the next Assembly elections. Amit Shah, who is attending the CISF programme, reportedly offered the state party time to conduct an interaction with professionals. In the meantime, on March 6, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar made the decision to hold a one-day deeksha about crimes against women. Together with other leaders, he will attend the deeksha at the BJP state party office in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan.
