On Sunday, a 41-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan died of corona virus (COVID-19). So far six CISF personnel have died from Corona. The number of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) personnel has died from Corona at 18. The media gave information about this to the officials. In their statement, officials said that the deceased constable was admitted to RML Hospital here on June 10 after fever and difficulty in breathing. He was a resident of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh and was posted with the 8th Reserve Battalion of the force in Jaipur. A senior CISF official said that the jawan was infected with the coronavirus and was posted for law and order in Delhi. Force said in a message, 'We express our heartfelt condolences to the family members of the jawan. For your information, let us tell you that this is the sixth death due to corona virus in the force of about 1.62 lakh personnel, the National Civil Aviation Security Force is protecting more than 60 airports. Twenty-four new cases of corona were reported in CISF since Saturday, of which there are 255 active corona cases, while 347 employees have been cured so far. At the same time, the maximum number of cases in force have come from 39 units posted in the Madras High Court. Apart from this, 28 from the unit stationed at Delhi Airport, 25 each from the unit posted at the Reserve Battalion at Ghaziabad, 17 each from the unit deployed at Mumbai Airport and Delhi Metro, 16 from the unit stationed at Kolkata Port Trust and Reliance Corporate Park, Navi Mumbai. 7 cases have come from the deployed unit.
