An amazing example of conscientiousness: IAS Pratibha Pal

Indore: Today we are going to talk about a woman officer who is a living example of integrity. Pratibha Pal, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been a speciality that no matter what the situation may be, she never shies away from her duty. In January 2021, the passion and passion of Indore Municipal Commissioner Pratibha Pal surprised many. In fact, while being the commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation, Pratibha Pal had made day-night alike at that time to make Indore number one, that too in a situation when she was 9 months pregnant. Not only this, till 12 hours before his delivery, she had held a review meeting regarding the work related to the sanitation survey. She had given directions to the officers to complete the necessary tasks and then gave birth to the newborn in the hospital the next morning. Even after this, she took only 10 days of maternity leave and returned to her duty on the 11th day.

There is no doubt that the then Municipal Commissioner (2015-2018) Manish Singh has an important contribution in making Indore the number-1 in cleanliness, which turned into a trenching ground due to the dust and garbage lying everywhere. Ashish Singh, who came after him, also continued the rejuvenation of Indore and made Indore the cleanest city in the country twice in 2019-2020. The work done by Pratibha Pal, who became the commissioner after Ashish Singh, was appreciated from the state to Delhi. Once, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, who visited Indore, praised the cleanliness of the city. Due to the dedication and passion of Pratibha Pal, Indore was able to hit the fifer of cleanliness and is now leading the race to hit a six.

Indore Municipal Commissioner Pratibha Pal is said to be fond of cooking and writing poetry. Pratibha Pal, who considers Dushyant Kumar as her favourite poet, herself has written many poems. She says that personality is formed only by thoughts, in such a situation it can be said about the IAS officer's talent that, her positive thoughts have brought her personality to such a height, wherefrom the younger generation of the country. Even experienced officers are inspired by her. In an interview, Pratibha Pal had said that 'thinking and promoting for the society should be the primary duty of any institution and officer. History asks only the one who takes everyone along and he is also read.'' Due to this thinking of the female IAS officer, she is at this stage today and remains a wonderful example of devotion to the 18,000 municipal employees of Indore.
