New Delhi: Delhi Police has caught three vicious and notorious thieves. The arrested miscreants have been identified as Arvind alias Kejriwal, Saurabh alias Raja and Suresh Rai alias Baua. A knife, a stolen bike, a stolen mobile phone and other items were recovered from them. According to the report, constables Ramavatar and Sunil were patrolling the bike in the police station area on November 28. At around 2.30 pm, when they reached the red light area of Indira Kalyan Vihar on Delhi's Maa Anandmayi Marg, they were seen shouting 'thief thief'. The woman was pointing to three people riding bikes and running towards ESI hospital. The police then started chasing the bike and nabbed him after a hard fight. By then the woman had also reached there. The woman said the three thieves were snatching her mobile phone and running away. On search, the police recovered the mobile phone and the knife used to snatch it. Moreover, when the police asked the trio about the bike owner, he could not respond. On interrogation, he was identified as Arvind alias Kejriwal, Saurabh alias Raja and Suresh Rai alias Baua. All three are residents of Phase-I in Delhi. Investigation revealed that the trio had stolen the bike from near Kalkaji police station. A FIR has been registered in the case and an inquiry has been initiated.
