India is neither a Hindu nation nor will it be: Owaisi

New Delhi: The political raw has been started after National Register of Citizens (NRC) list released in Assam. About 19 lakh people living in Assam were facing an identity crisis after this list was revealed. There has been a war on Twitter between BJP leader Hemanta Biswa Sharma and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi over the NRC.

Actually, the thing is that Hemanta Biswa Sharma was attacked while retweeting a tweet by Asaduddin Owaisi.  Owaisi had tweeted that, 'It is clear from this situation that NRC was used to expel Muslims. Whereas Hemanta Biswa Sharma said that Hindus will be protected at any cost. Citizens cannot be divided on the basis of faith. Hemanta Biswa Sharma said that if India does not protect Hindus then who will? Pakistan? India should always be home to the persecuted Hindus.

After the BJP leader, there was another tweet by Owaisi and it was written that India should save all Indians, not just Hindus. It is written in the constitution that India will respect all faiths. This is not a Hindu nation and it never will be.
