The couple's romance was intense enough for Himanshi to break off her engagement, but unfortunately, their relationship did not stand the test of time. By 2023, Asim and Himanshi had officially announced their breakup, attributing their split to differences in religion.
Himanshi disclosed that recovering from the breakup was a long and challenging process. The period following their separation was particularly difficult, and she experienced significant emotional distress. She revealed that she does not mind being perceived as the "villain" in their breakup story, emphasizing that she ended the relationship when it began to severely impact her mental health. She felt that her life lacked peace, which played a crucial role in her decision to part ways.
According to Himanshi, maintaining a healthy environment is essential for one's well-being. She expressed that if the surroundings are not toxic, a person can heal more easily. She shared that she used to be frequently ill in the past, but she is now in good health. Although comments related to her past relationship still occasionally hurt her, she chooses to ignore them as they are unlikely to change.
Himanshi also discussed her views on relationships and marriage. She stated that if she is not feeling good in a relationship and experiences disrespect, she believes she has the right to leave. Her decision to exit relationships has always been driven by feelings of disrespect. She criticized the perception that women are gold diggers, asserting that if one's identity, decisions, religion, and work are not respected within a relationship, it is not worth staying in.
Regarding her future, Himanshi mentioned that her chapter on marriage is closed. She does not foresee marriage happening for her in the near future and feels that she needs to focus on her own well-being first. Given her previous health issues, she believes that no one would be willing to deal with her challenges, making marriage an unlikely prospect at this time.
