After testing positive for coronavirus, the former Chief Minister was admitted to GMCH on August 26. Giving information, sources said that the team of nine doctors at Guwahati Medical College Hospital is constantly monitoring Gogoi. The former CMs are weak, and are not talking much, with doctors saying they are hoping that their health will improve soon. GMCH doctors have consulted AIIMS doctors through video calls about the line of treatment required for the 86-year-old elderly Congress leader.
