GUWAHATI: For its Ministers, MLAs, and top officials, the Assam government has scheduled a three-day Chintan Shivir beginning on Saturday, September 24 to 26. The purpose of the event is to deliberate various state concerns and choose a future course of action. According to information obtained, ministers and assembly members from the BJP's Assam allies are also expected to attend the event taking place at the Borgos Resort in Kaziranga. The three-day "brainstorming" session will likely include an evaluation of the state government led by Sarma's accomplishments over the previous year. The delivery system for the state's development will also be discussed, along with a thorough road plan for the future and a resolution to the unresolved issues. Senior government officials will also showcase the state government's ongoing efforts. The event is also considered important for the planning of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The BJP wants to take at least 11 seats. The event is expected to be opened by the chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and will also feature Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living and Sadhguru of the Isha Foundation.
