Assam has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases on Tuesday, with 614 new cases reported during this period. More than 8000 cases of Corona have been reported here and 12 people have died. State Health Minister Himmat Biswa Sarma informed about this. 8,407 cases have been reported in the state. Kamrup (Metro) Guwahati city under the district is under full lockdown for 14 days from 28 June midnight, till now 1,767 cases have been reported. Earlier, on June 21, the maximum number of 331 cases were reported in one day. In his statement, the minister said that out of the 613 new cases reported on Tuesday, only 380 cases were reported in Guwahati. A 50-year-old man from Guwahati was brought dead at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on June 22 and his sample was corona positive. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family. On Tuesday, 314 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state, taking the total number of patients recovering from the infection to 5,647. He said that out of a total of 8,407 cases in the state, 2,745 are active cases. 5,647 people have been cured, 12 people have died and three people have gone out of the state. So far 4,12,214 sample tests in the state. Sarma held a video conference with all the deputy commissioners of the state, including his deputy minister Pijush Hazarika and other senior officials and directed them to strictly follow all the rules of the people.
