Khawar Awan, the founder and creative director of FINELLI, found it when he was just 19. While he dreamt of becoming a professional cricket player, he had a whole upside down change in his life with a shoulder injury and had to opt for something else. Designing was a great option as it was also his passion. He used to design his clothes when he was 17. Talking about FINELLI, we would be eager to know where this name came from? Well Giuliano Finelli was an Italian Baroque sculptor who emerged from the workshop of Bernini. He was famous for his elegant sculptures, carving even the the tiny details in the finest way and we do the same. These tiny details are nowadays seen in the clothes of the people. So from his name came FINELLI. Even the design of the icon is inspired by the collar of his famous sculpture called Buste de Maria Duglioli Barberini (1626). The first collection was launched on 19th of June. Their collection is made up of upcycled fabrics in order to look after the environment as well. In a very short span of time it has become a known brand in Switzerland. This hardwork may help them become a famous brand worldwide pretty soon.
