Gorakhpur Terror Funding Case: ATS questions owners of mobile store

Gorakhpur: In the case of Terror funding in Gorakhpur district of UP, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has conducted a raid. In this case, about three years old, ATS raid a mobile phone shop located in Golghar area. Superintendent of Police Sonam Kumar has confirmed the raid killed by ATS. He has told that the ATS reached the mobile phone shop and asked the employees there to go outside and questioned its owner inside the shop. ATS had also raided this shop in the year 2018.

Sonam Kumar told that ATS has killed it in the case of Terror funding. However, he refused to give more information about this, saying that detailed details will be obtained from ATS only. The ATS also raided this mobile shop and three places related to it on 25 March 2018 and arrested Arshad and Nadeem, the sons of Naeem Ahmed, who was then the owner of the shop. After nearly four months, both were granted bail.

On the other hand, intelligence agencies and police department are fully alert on the security of the Indo-Nepal border. Intelligence agencies are also eyeing the existence of more than 300 madrasas along with suspicious activities on the border. The need for these madrasas and mosques near the border suddenly and the source of their income is not known, the intelligence agencies have lost their ears. In such a situation, they are now being investigated in every way.
