Bajaj Auto has introduced the premium motorcycle brand Husqvarna in India. Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 models have been introduced under this premium bike brand. Husqvarna is one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the world and has been in production since 1903. Vitpilen and Svartpilen bikes are designed to deliver high performance. Bajaj Auto has said that retailing of both these premium bikes will start from February 2020. The company says that KTM showrooms will be upgraded to sell KTM and Husqvarna high performance motorcycles. Husqvarna bikes will be made available in 30 cities in the first month of retail sales. They believe that in the medium term this Swedish brand will generate demand like KTM's 200-250cc range. Narang said, 'You can assume that KTM bikes attract young riders of 18-25 years. At the same time, Husqvarna will appeal to riders aged 25-35. Apart from this, Bajaj Auto has also introduced its much-awaited KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle. At the moment, the company has not disclosed the price, this model will be available from late January 2020. In the Indian market, it will compete with Royal Enfield's Himalayan. Bajaj Auto will launch Husqvarna in India as part of the probing business unit. The probing business unit handles the company's premium motorcycle segment. Husqvarna motorcycles will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto's Chakan plant and will share many components with KTM's 250cc models (KTM 250 Duke) in addition to the 249cc single-cylinder engine. Both Husqvarna premium bikes will be launched on 14 February 2020 and only then will their prices go out. The price of these bikes can be between 2.25 lakh to 2.5 lakh rupees.
