Stroll around Norzin Lam

Thimpu being the capital and the largest city of Bhutan. Visit the national library and have a glimpse of bhudist texts. Witness the beautiful sunset at Kuensel Phodrang hill. Norzin lam is the only main road in the world without traffic lights. Walk around the centre and enjoy cappuccino at a roadside café.

Visit the most beautiful monastery in Punakha

The most beautiful dzong in Bhutan and now serves as a winter residence from the monastic body from Thimbu. The white walls of dzong are lined by lilac jacaranda trees and can be accessed by a wooden bridge. You can take a day trip from Thimbu to visit the valley.

Drive from Paro to Phuentsholing

It is a pleasure to trek or drive anywhere in Bhutan, but enjoy the drive through dense forested hills from to phuentsholing. It takes around six hours and most of the route is covered with fog even at around 11 am in the morning.
