Tricolour to be hoisted in Lal Chowk on India's 73rd Independence Day; Ayodhya Youths leave for Kashmir

Ayodhya: On the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, the youth of Ayodhya will also participate in the flag-raising at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. On Tuesday (13th August), a group of 26 youths left for Srinagar. As per the information received, 9 youths will join the team in Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 35 youths will participate in the Flag-raising at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

The people of Ram Nagari Ayodhya are very happy after the removal of Section 370 of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The tricolour will be hoisted at Lal Chowk in Srinagar for the first time after the removal of Dhara 370. A group of 26 youths from Ayodhya has left for Srinagar to participate in the flag-hoisting ceremony.

The BJP leaders organised a programme at The Ribakganj Crossroads in the city and wooed all the youths. On the other hand, members of the women wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tied up the Raksha Sutra and sent the youth off. The team will consist of 7 youths from Ayodhya, 10 from Bihar, 4 from Rajasthan, 3 from Sultanpur, 2 from Pratapgarh and 9 from Jammu and Kashmir. The authorities have made all arrangements and made elaborate security arrangements.
