In Delhi, punjab has been jammed after the strike of Ravidas Samaj in protest against the demolition of the temple of Shri Guru Ravidas ji on the orders of the Supreme Court. The bandh has been widely affected in most of the districts of Punjab. Ravidas Samaj is holding demonstrations at various places and holding dharna on the streets. Markets are closed at most places in the state and road traffic has come to a standstill. Buses are not running. Protesters stopped the movement of trains near Ludhiana. About two hours later, the track started running and the train movement began. In Batala also, the protesters staged a dharna on the railway track. Schools remained closed at most of the places today.

The protesters reached the Ludhiana-Jalandhar railway track near Ludhiana in the afternoon and jammed it. They stopped the movement of trains. In Batala also, protesters reached the railway track. They sat down on the railway track.
