Ayurveda system will be treated in Himachal

The state government is implementing the AYUSH policy to treat patients with Ayurveda method. After the approval of the same cabinet, the government can issue its notification. Now investors will be able to set up Ayush therapy units in Himachal under the AYUSH policy. This policy has been implemented for the first time in Himachal. According to the government's plan, a provision of 25 percent has been made on the capital subsidy for setting up Ayush therapy units, which can be up to a maximum of one crore.

Apart from this, expenditure on land will not be included. Four percent interest can be given on the loan. This will be a maximum of 15 lakhs per year. The same investors can invest in 10 sectors under this policy. It will have Ayush Health Sector, Ayush Medicity, Ayush Hospital, Ayush Yoga and Meditation Center, Ayush Pharmaceutical, Educational Institutions, Cultivation and Medical Plant. In all these, investors will be given different incentives. Ayush hospitals and dispensaries can be upgraded. The main objective of the policy is to provide appropriate facilities in Ayurveda health centers to the patients by upgrading and strengthening the Ayush treatment system at the second and third levels. Among these, exemption in lease rent and stamp duty can be given in selected projects.

Tourism will get a boost Apart from this, with the implementation of the AYUSH policy, people will get better Ayurveda services in the state. Health tourism can also be promoted. The government has given several incentives in the policy to attract entrepreneurs for investment. Loans on four per cent interest, and State GST have also been exempted like the facility of 75 per cent return for 7 years, so that more and more investors can come to Himachal.
