Azam Khan's condition critical, the coming 72 hours will be crucial

Lucknow: The coming 72 hours will be crucial for Azam Khan, leader of the Majwadi Party and Lok Sabha MP. If their health improves during the same period, it will be good for them. Dr Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director, Medanta Hospital, Lucknow has explained his condition.

Dr Rakesh Kapoor said Azam Khan and his son were brought to Medanta Hospital from Sitapur jail on May 9 and admitted. His son is healthy. Dr Kapoor said azam khan was required 4 to 5 litres of oxygen per hour when he was admitted. Covid pneumonia was found in their bylateral lungs. Within two days, when his severeity and illness increased, his oxygen requirement had also increased, forcing him to shift to the ICU of the Covid ward and kept under the strict supervision of the doctor.

Dr Kapoor said that in today's situation, his oxygen requirement has decreased slightly. They are eating and are stable, but because of the severeity of the disease, they are being treated keeping in mind the covid protocol. Dr Kapoor made it clear that the coming 72 hours will be a little important for him and it will be great for him if it improves.
