Rampur: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat Azam Khan's trouble in not ending. Now, he is caught illegally cutting thousands of Khair trees from the government lease land given to his Johar University, adjacent to Kosi. Azam Khan is said to have cut 2173 trees in Khair (Katthe). In fact, Azam Khan had leased land of Johar University number 1252 and 1458 through the Johar Trust. The condition was that the tree trees standing on this land would be kept as the trees. But the investigation found that these trees were cut. The team has examined it and sent the entire case report to the Government. Now, the Forest Department will take action on this. Additional District Officer Jaypee Gupta said that during the SP government in the state, more than 12 acres of Kosi land was leased to Azam Khan's Johar University. The land leased to Azam's university was given to the Kosi, which contained 2173 trees of the cathedral. It is alleged that these trees were cut down by the university administration.
