Bad Newz Soars to Rs 78.30 Crore Worldwide in Just One Week

Mumbai: The film "Bad Newz," featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has made an impressive impact at the box office, raking in Rs 78.30 crore globally in its first week.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, "Bad Newz" hit theaters on July 19 and quickly captured audience interest. Dharma Productions announced the film's success on its 'X' handle, sharing a poster with the message, "A Worldwide Entertainer! 78.30 crore in 1 week." The caption added, "Breaking Newz: '#BadNewz' is taking over the globe with its dhamakedaar entertainment!"

The movie's unique plot centers around Saloni Bagga, played by Triptii Dimri, who has a rare medical condition called heteropaternal superfecundation. This condition results in twins being born to the same mother but from different biological fathers. Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk portray Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Singh, respectively, two men who vie for the role of the best father to the twins and the affection of Saloni Bagga.

Produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar, "Bad Newz" also features Neha Dhupia in a significant role. The film's compelling storyline and strong performances have evidently resonated with audiences worldwide, contributing to its impressive box office performance.
