These five wrestlers will not be included in Tokyo Olympics

Asian Games champions Wrestler Bajrang, Ravi Kumar and Deepak Punia, who have received Olympic tickets, will begin preparations for the Tokyo Olympics in Sonepat from Tuesday. Wrestling Association of India and Sports Authority of India have selected 23 freestyle and Greco Roman wrestlers for the camp.

Five of these, Rahul Aware (57 kg) due to his father's illness, while Pawan Kumar (86 kg), Satendra Kumar (125 kg), Arjun (60) and Prabhapal Singh (87) will not attend the camp due to personal reasons. . Most of the wrestlers will have to go in seclusion. Only after the Kovid investigation comes out negative, will the official practice be allowed. Freestyle wrestlers will practice under the patronage of Chief Coach Jagminder and Anil Mann while Grechoromon's Chief Coach Hargovind.

Also, Greco Roman's foreign coach Teemo Kajrashvili will be sent from Delhi's Nehru Stadium to Sonepat. Bajrang coach Shako will also reach Sonepat soon from Bangalore. The same Narsingh Yadav, who was caught in dope just before the Rio Olympics, will also return to the camp after four years ban. He is placed in the old weight category 74 kg along with Jitender Kumar, Praveen Rana and Amit Dhankhar. Narasimha will reach Sonipat on 5 September. With this, some wrestlers will not be able to join the camp.
