Desi, English liquor prices will increase in this state and beer will be cheaper

Lucknow: In the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh, beer is going to be cheaper from April 1, along with it, it is hoped that country and English liquor will be expensive. With the new financial year in April, a new excise session is also going to start. Due to this, new prices of beer, desi, and English liquor will be applied. According to the news received from the Excise Department, the price of beer is going to decrease for the first time in Uttar Pradesh from April, along with the increase in the prices of Indian and English liquor.

According to Kanhaiya Lal Maurya, General Secretary of the Liquor Vendor Welfare Association, currently the price of one can of beer is around Rs 130 which will be reduced to Rs 110 from April 1. With the introduction of the new price, beer will be received at a reduced price of about 20 rupees. Kanhaiya Lal Maurya told that 200 ml of Desi Daru will increase by 5 rupees. This pack will now be available for Rs 85 instead of 80.

The English liquor quarters will increase by 15 to 20 rupees. He said that the license fee has been increased by seven and a half percent, hence the price of liquor has also been increased. There has been no increase in the excise duty and license prices of beer, hence the prices have not been increased. He also said that the price of beer is being reduced to increase its demand. From April 1, new prices of alcohol and beer will be applicable. Beer consumption is currently low in Uttar Pradesh. To increase this consumption, the price of beer has been reduced, while the price of Desi and English liquor has been increased.
