Belarus President to meet PM Modi today in New Delhi

Belarus President Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko reached to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: The Belarus President Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko today is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss various issues of mutual interest of both countries. Following the meeting, delegation level talks will be held at Hyderabad House.

Last night Belarus President Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko reached New Delhi and during his two-day visit, he will also have meetings with President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. This is Lukashenko's third state visit to India as the President of Belarus. His visit takes place at a time when Belarus and India are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The two sides during his visit are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation in defence and security, trade and investment, science and technology and people to people exchanges. They are also likely to exchange views and assessments on regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
