On his American tour, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi addressed at Berkeley's prestigious University of California. In his speech, Rahul made a fierce attack on the Narendra Modi government. He took the Modi government against the ban on bondage, Kashmir policy, and foreign policy.

At the same time, Rahul praised "Clean India Initiative" and said, "PM Modi is a good speaker than me."

Gandhi says, “India is a complex country. Every time you try to understand India is a fool. We have 29 states, covering every religion in the world. We have 17 official languages and hundreds of dialects. We have different terrains too. Most experts didn’t expect India to survive; they predicted it will be torn apart. But India came out standing straight and tall.”

Rahul Gandhi speaks on Kashmir issue:

UPA II government had in 2013 broken the back of terrorism and was done by holding Panchayati Raj elections, women self-help groups and giving young people from J&K employment and building their confidence. When we started terrorism was rampant in Kashmir but when we finished there was peace."

If security guard gives me protection in Kashmir, then that means something is not right in Kashmir. But in 2013, people were standing with me, not a security guard. But in 2014 there was a need for security personnel in Kashmir.

Mr. Modi is also my Prime Minister &, good speaker than me:

I am the leader of the opposition but Modi is my PM too. He’s a very good communicator and understands how to deliver a message to three or four groups in a crowd; his messaging ability is very subtle. What I sense is that he doesn’t converse with the people he works with — I’ve heard this from parliamentarians,” Clean India is a good idea, I like it too.

Today Russia is selling arms to Pakistan, which never happened before, it did not happen earlier. China's influence in Nepal, Burma, Sri Lanka, Maldives is increasing, it is important to balance foreign policy. It is important to make friends with the US, but it is important to build relationships with other countries too.

I learned a lot from America and now I am applying in India. But you can not apply that thing in India directly. I read economics, but now my work comes down considerably.
