Bengaluru man Stabbed to death by gamblers

Bengaluru: A 33-year-old man was murdered on Saturday (April 6) as he had gone out to gamble with his friends. Ramesh, who owned a real estate agency in the city had gone out to gamble with his friends in the late hours of Saturday. According to reports, Ramesh had won a lot of money and while he was returning to his Hosakerahalli residence, he picked up a fight with his fellow gamblers. On his way back home, Ramesh got involved in a fight with other gamblers in which he was stabbed multiple times. His body was recovered from Krishnappa Layout.

According to the reports, his body was discovered by a senior citizen of the area who informed the police. His body was sent for postmortem. A policeman said Ramesh's body was lying with a vest and a pant on it and the money was missing. He also said that the killers had hit the victim's head with a heavy object. A case has been registered at Rajarajeshwari Nagar Police Station and the probe is on. While police are trying to ascertain the cause of the murder, they found no money on him. This has led to the suspicion that he was killed for money.
