Bentley Motors debuted the new Flying Spur Hybrid for the first time in Europe at the 2022 Autoworld Museum in Belgium. The car is an important addition to Bentley's portfolio in Europe, where demand for electrified vehicles is expected to skyrocket in 2021. The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid is the brand's first electrified sedan, combining an internal combustion engine and an electric motor in a seamless manner. A 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine and a sophisticated electric motor make up the new powertrain. It has a total output of 544 PS (536 bhp) and 750 Nm (553 lb.ft) of torque, which is 95 PS more than the Bentayga Hybrid. When completely charged, the new Flying Spur can go over 700 kilometres. The introduction of this vehicle is a significant step forward in the company's Beyond100 goal, which aims to make it a totally end-to-end carbon neutral brand by 2030. By 2024, the whole Bentley line will have an electrified powertrain option, with the brand's first BEV following in 2025.
