Bentley to rule over Mercedes Maybach at times being the Luxury on Wheels

New Delhi:- Let me be clear, none of these cars are the best cars in the world. It's been a long time since luxury sedans became the pinnacle of the automotive world, the pinnacle we all aspire to be. Now it's off the road for SUVs and it's a dead end. And as a result, the car itself was also damaged.

Let me explain using Maybach. A proud luxury brand before World War II, Mercedes revived it as an independent brand in 2002, pouring millions of dollars into developing two sedans and forecasting annual global sales of 2,000. In fact, it sold only about 3,000 total copies before Merck pulled it out a decade later. The Maybach, on the other hand, is only the most exclusive Merck S-class badge.

Bentley was no exception. The company recently announced the end of its flagship Mulsanne sedan, the last Crew vehicle with roots predating VW. Substitutions are unlikely. Instead, using the same parts as the Continental GT Coupe, this car, the new Flying His Spar, is all Bentley's hopes and dreams for his four-door future.

But rationalization itself is healthy. The new Flying Spur meets the challenge of being Bentley's only saloon far superior to its predecessor. It's a very beautiful machine and the visual balance is just right. A long bonnet and glass surfaces that evenly accentuate the front and rear compartments. Now let's take a look at the Maybach. The hood is less impressive, but more importantly, the rear seats take up about two-thirds of the glass.

This makes this test very easy to create. Do you travel in the back? Got a Maybach. It's great there. Yes, we have the £7,300 first class cabin package and that's what you need. We need individual seats and tables more than champagne flutes and sterling silver refrigerators. So you can do bizniz there. 200 mm longer than the longest S-Class and with a special cut-out rear bulkhead that allows the seat to recline more, even the Rolls-Royce Phantom has a more relaxed stance than any other car. It's basically a helicopter. Faster, but louder and less comfortable.

Bentley? All in all, it has decent space, and four adults would be fine, but it's not a car you'd want to take your shoes off. Your feet may stink and other passengers may find it offensive. The reward is that you are alone in the Maybach and the driver doesn't notice anything. The Flying Spur has atmosphere. The quality of materials, the combination of wood, leather and metal, clever 3D surfaces - all this enhances the atmosphere of the cabin. And the Maybach is probably just as well-made, albeit a little less daring. However, I don't mind sleeping like a sedated rhino.

Would you like to drive yourself? Bentley every time. It's not the quietest or smoothest of the two, but it's a car you really want to drive. There are real reactions and responses rather than orientation opportunities.

First remove the Maybach. First, as a driver, you feel detached and pushed forward, while the vaulted roofline draws your attention to the hollow space behind. It reminds me of old sedans that take drivers outside. The layout is very S class, no issues with that. The S650 has a great powertrain. Equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine (an engine that is now definitely endangered), it produces 621 horsepower and 737 Nm of torque at 2,300 rpm. Do you need that much power? Of course, even if you never use it. The more powerful the motor, the less power it consumes to deliver the required power. Therefore, the S650 does not feel forced or stressed. The engine is quiet, surprisingly smooth, mated to a seven-speed automatic, and downshifts very deliberately and deliberately before shifting from one gear to the next.

The Maybach's pace and cadence are comfortable, with Magic Body Control air suspension and relatively modest 20-inch wheels, supported by a curb weight of 2,360 kg. Occasionally, very slight structural twists in the elongated body can be noticed. I cringe because I just want to drive as smoothly as possible, keep my champagne glasses from tipping over, and keep my passengers from noticing that I'm moving. I think drivers love these things. His 1 in 10 S-Class cars have sold around 25,000 of his S-Class cars worldwide since its launch in 2015.

It will never match the success of a real Maybach. Bentley is a sedan that is a real pleasure to drive. It's not a competitor to the M5 or RS6, but it's not far off in many ways. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 330km/h. That's incredibly quick, especially considering it's actually worse power-to-weight ratio than the Maybach (626hp at 2,437kg at 257hp/tonne, 6hp slower than the S650). So why is the Mercedes is 1 second slower to 100 km/h? It has rear-wheel drive, a low-speed transmission and a much less aggressive power delivery. The Flying Spur wants to go, and if you go, it will. It features all-wheel steering for agility, an optional 48-bolt anti-roll system to limit lean in corners, and precise steering. It feels half a ton lighter than it actually is and is really sporty.

But you can also move, whisper and wave almost seamlessly with your Maybach. No other luxury car has the range, the desire to drive, and the ability to move forward with no apparent effort or effort. It gives the Flying Spur a true duality. I tried to throw the Merc, but it quickly felt nasty and cruel. But Bentley takes it up a notch and knows how to control itself, give back information and ensure a good time. And doing it makes him feel special.

The Bentley experience has a warmth and character that a Maybach lacks. And the driving environment is great. A seat that hugs and hugs you can take you exactly where you want to go, no matter how you drive that day. The only thing I really had to complain about was the USB slot, which was hidden behind an ugly cheap plastic cover. But what about overall? It's a special place. It feels and behaves like you would expect it to from a 168,300-pound car.

The £217,970 cost of this car in testing is also justified. Merck? Well, the price is double that of the regular S-Class, but if you want the fullest experience in the back seat, the regular S-Class falls far short. The only thing to keep in mind is that the value of luxury four-door cars only goes one way. Both factories are costly to operate, but are subject to depreciation risk.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 has a role to play, but it only concerns a small fraction of the world's population. What it does is definitely better than others. But it's not a winner. The Flying Spur is a luxury sedan that is also truly sporty. Looking back at the iconic Arnage is something Bentley can be proud of. Ideally, it would have more room in the rear (maybe there will be a long-wheelbase version as well), but it's still worth the approach. Best car in the world?

According to the comparison that we have made by referring some of the sites both the cars are premium and great at times to experience the luxury and also one can take the anywhere and for any purpose though they never disappoint. The best car accordingly is the Bentley Flying Spur then the Mercedes Maybach S650.
