Betul gang rape accused appeared in court, police could not ascertain the location yet

Betul: Three accused arrested by Betul Kotwali police in the Betul gang rape and self-immolation case of a victim minor were produced before the special court today. Where the court handed over the accused to police remand till 29 February. The police was trying to take the accused on remand for further investigation into the incident. For this, an application was made in the court.

At the same time, even after 30 hours of the incident, the police have not been able to get the information about the incident of the gang rape done with the victim. It has also been revealed that the victim reached the Kotwali police station on February 24, two days before the incident. Police has said that she came to the police on the night of 24 February to ask for help to go home. During this time his maternal uncle, resident in Betul, was also called. After which the victim was rushed to her house by a police vehicle. During this time also, the victim did not tell the police anything.

After this, the question is now arising that if the victim reached Kotwali at 11 pm, if she was properly counseled, then she would definitely have said something about the incident. Why and what she was doing in Betul till 11 am, the police do not have any answer for this. SP Betul DS Bhadoria told that the police had assisted him. On receiving the police remand of the accused, other evidence including the scene of the incident will be collected.
