Srinagar: Protests started soon after the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi reaches Kashmir. On Friday, local youth protested against the yatra in Lal Chowk, raising slogans of Rahul Gandhi Go Back. They have demanded the administration to ban the yatra. Friday (January 20) was the second day of Rahul's visit to Jammu. The closing ceremony of the Yatra will be held on January 30 at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar. According to reports, the National Conference (NC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) are also supporting Rahul Gandhi's visit. On Friday (January 20) morning, on the second day of the Yatra, a group of local youth gathered under the Ghantaghar at Lalchowk. They were holding a banner on which the slogans of Rahul Gandhi Go Back were written. These youth also raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. Shouting slogans of Rahul Haye-Haye and Rahul Gandhi Go Back, the youth tried to take out a procession, but the policemen present there did not allow them. A youth involved in the Lal Chowk protesters told that the Yatra of Rahul is only a political drama. It is not for common Indians or Kashmiris. Congress is completely ending. Rahul Gandhi has set out on this journey only to save Congress' lost political base. Another protester asked why Rahul did not remember the yatra when terrorists were gunning all around. Innocent people were being killed. The Congress has ruled the center for many years, there has been a Congress government in our state as well. Congress has not done any work to improve the situation. This yatra should have taken place when Article 370 was there, people of Hurriyat used to raise slogans of Azadi every day. At that time these people used to embrace the Hurriyat. A youth raising slogan said that we request Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha and PM Narendra Modi to keep Rahul Gandhi's political visit away from Kashmir. He is coming to do political drama in the garb of Yatra, so we want him to stay away from Kashmir. Congress has divided India into two countries and today the same Congress talks about uniting India. 'I will roam carrying BJP flag', why did PK say this? 'Who is LG?' Lt Gov gives a befitting reply to Kejriwal's question TMC's tension increased before panchayat elections! Warning issued to leaders
