Bharti Airtel's B2B arm, Airtel Business, has signed a new agreement with the Italian global operator Sparkle to improve connectivity between Asia and Europe. This collaboration will enable Airtel to access capacity on the Blue-Raman Submarine Cable Systems, which link India with Italy. The Blue-Raman system includes the Blue cable, which covers Italy, France, Greece, and Israel, and the Raman cable, which connects Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, Oman, and India. This partnership aims to enhance Airtel's global network by incorporating additional international submarine cable systems, addressing the increasing demand for data services in India and its neighboring countries. The two companies will also explore new business opportunities and projects in the Indian subcontinent, utilizing their combined cable infrastructures.
