The body of a young woman locked in a sack in a drain near the Resident Colony in front of Isar has been found here. According to reports, the girl was stabbed in the stomach. Not only that, he also has severe head injuries. The girl was reportedly missing for nearly 24 hours and police have suspected the girl's boyfriend in the case. Police have also not ruled out rape in the case though it is yet to be confirmed.
Talking about the case, TI Sandhya Mishra of Khajuri police station said, "On Saturday afternoon, there was a suspicion of a body in a sack in a drain near the colony near Isar. As soon as the police opened the sack, a body was found in it. The team was immediately called FSL. SP North Vijay Khatri also reached the spot. The girl was found with a knife in her stomach and severe head injuries." On the other hand, a report of the disappearance of a young woman from Nishatpura was reported last Friday. Nishatpura police also rushed to the spot after receiving information from Khajuri police.
The family members were called to the spot for identification as the body was found missing. As soon as the girl's maternal uncle reached the spot, he identified the body as 23-year-old Kashish. In the case, TI Mishra said, the manner in which the murder was committed could be the work of a close relative. At first, the young woman was hit on the head with something heavy. He is then suspected to have been stabbed in the stomach. After the murder, the body must have been packed in a sack and thrown here.
