Nawada: A forced marriage case involving a guy from Bihar's Nawada area has surfaced. While getting married, the man was also attacked. On Tuesday, the victim went to the Nawada Nagar police station and filed a written complaint in the matter. Umakant Prasad, a native of Mohiuddinpur village in the Guddu Kumar Nagar police station area, is the victim's son. In the Sarbhaina village in Wazirganj police station area of Gaya district, he married Shambhu Prasad's daughter Rani Kumari. For a week, the man was imprisoned in a room and tortured. On the pretence of taking the exam, the man departed and returned to his village. The individual stated that he works for a private firm in Gujarat's Vapi. On Deewali, he travelled to Delhi to see his relative. He went on to say that his uncle is a fruit trader in Delhi. Nearby, the girl's brother-in-law also sells fruits. There was a connection between them there. The girl's brother-in-law sought fruiting in Sarbhaina for Chhath Puja in order to come to Nawada. He arrived at Nawada carrying fruits from Delhi.
