Banka: The administration has made some shocking revelations amid the ongoing probe into the blast at a madrassa in Banka district of Bihar. Media reports quoted the district collector and superintendent of police as saying that the madarsa was illegal. The blast was caused by a desi bomb in the container. Meanwhile, the cause of Maulana's death has been attributed to suffocation. Media reports said that several teams are investigating at different points. This mainly includes central IB, ATS and SIT. District Collector Suharsh Bhagat and SP Arvind Kumar Gupta told a press conference on Thursday (June 10, 2021) that evidence of ID blast has not been found. The blast has come to light with a desi bomb. A piece of twine, nail and container used in bomb building has been found from the spot. How powerful the bomb was will be clear only after the SFL report is received. The Superintendent of Police said that the desi bomb that exploded was kept in a container near the gate in a room of the madarsa. So far, no evidence has been found about the suspicious activities of the deceased Maulana. The DM said that the madarsa was not even registered. It had been running on concessional land for 18-20 years and 50-60 children were being educated. Madarsa Imam Maulana Abdul Mobin was injured in the blast. He later died. Maulana lived in madarsa. His respiratory tube was filled with smoke after the explosion. He died of suffocation and being buried in heavy debris. The case is also being investigated from the angle of dispute between the two villages.
