Patna: Corona cases are constantly increasing in the state. Many restrictions have been imposed, such as lockdown, to protect people from infections. During this, there is good news for the employees of the Government of Bihar. After March to May, the state government will not impose any restrictions on the salary of its employees during the lockdown period. In this episode, the government has implemented the rule of no restriction on salary even in the new round of lockdown between 16 and 31 July. A large number of Bihar government employees will get benefit from this decision. Full salary to those who do not come to the office between March and May: Finance Ministry Principal Secretary S. Siddharth has issued a letter to each Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary as well as Divisional Commissioner and District Officers, informing them of the Government's decision. It is said that the government has issued instructions to give a full salary to the workers who do not come to the office during the lockdown period from March to May. This facility is also going to remain effective in the July lockdown. It is instructed that regular employees, contract workers, and personnel working through external agencies will be paid the salary of July on time. Employees who could not come to work, their salary will not be stopped. Pension to the families of deceased employees from Corona: Before which the state government had decided to give pension to the relatives of the workers who died due to corona infection. In a cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish, it was decided to give the benefit of special family pension to government servants. It has also been decided that if a government worker dies due to corona infection, then he is going to be specially given a family pension. After the year 2004, the government has taken this big decision for those who are in service. Those who have been in service after 2004 are being given the benefit of NPC.
