27-year-old doctor died due to Covid-19 in SGRH Hospital

Bhopal: A 27-year-old doctor died in New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) after fighting a battle with Corona for a month. Joginder Chaudhary had been battling this epidemic since 28 June. His corona report came a month ago on 27 June, in which he was found positive. He was a junior resident and was working on a need basis in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (BSA) Medical Hospital and College, run by the Delhi Government from October 2019. He served in flu clinics and in his casualty ward till fever came on 23 June.

Dr. Chaudhary also conducted his test after two of his colleagues were found to be corona infected. Four days later, his report also came back positive and he was admitted to BSA Hospital, where he complained of breathing problem. After the situation worsened, he was admitted a day later at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP). Joginder's uncle and a nursing officer at BSA, Rameshwar Sanghava, said, "He was admitted to SGRH after his condition was critical". He said, "Joginder was admitted to BSA Hospital on 27 June, but the doctors there said that his condition is very critical. After which Dr. Joginder was taken to LNJP Hospital."

On June 30, LNJP doctors told his father that Joginder would be put on a ventilator, as he had a perforation in his lungs. He was then admitted to SGRH for treatment on July 7 where he died while battling Corona.
