Patna: In Bihar assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had promised to provide vaccine first on the formation of the government. Preparations have also been initiated in this direction after the formation of the government. Nitish Kumar's government is working on a war footing on the maintenance and distribution of corona vaccine. The state vaccine store at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital campus in the capital Patna has now been fully prepared for corona vaccine care. The state vaccine store is the largest vaccine storage hub in Bihar. The vaccine centre is counted not only in Bihar but also among the largest vaccine storage centres in the country. It is claimed that 35 million doses of corona vaccine can be stored simultaneously in vaccine stores. Talking to a private news channel, Dr Binod Kumar Singh, medical superintendent, Nalanda Medical College and Hospital, said that there was a provision of about 22 lakh doses in the state vaccine store, which has now been increased to 35 lakh. Earlier, the Delhi Airport management team was also informed that the coronavirus vaccine could come to India by the end of December or the first week of January. For which all storage preparations have been made at Delhi airport.
