Bank cashier shot and robbing of Rs 9 lakh happened, police investigating the case

Chhapra: Criminals in Bihar are committing crimes in broad day light.The latest case has come to light from Chhapra district of the state where criminals shot a private bank cashier in broad daylight on Monday and looted 9.45 lakh rupees. According to information received, four unidentified assailants shot the cashier and robbed the cashier of Utkarsh Bank near the bus stand in Dighwara police station area of the district.

The bullet hit the victim's leg. The local youth was also reported injured in the incident. The criminals fled after committing the crime. On receiving information about the incident, SDPO Anjani Kumar rushed to the spot and started investigating the case. According to reports, the victim was on his way to deposit cash at the Bank of India branch when four miscreants attacked him and looted a bag full of rupees and fled.

The victim was admitted to a hospital for treatment with the help of locals where doctors referred him to Patna as his condition was critical. Talking about the incident, Saran SP Santosh Kumar said that the entire incident is under investigation. It is not yet clear how much money has been looted. But loot of 9 to 10 lakhs has been reported. The investigation is on, soon the culprits will be arrested.
