Counting of by-elections in Samastipur Lok Sabha seat of Bihar is going on. According to media reports, so far Prince Raj is leading with more than 1.58 lakh votes. Ashok Kumar of Congress, running in second place, got 1.13 lakh votes. About 45 per cent of the total 1680470 voters had voted in the election. According to this figure, there were about 7.50 lakh voting in Samastipur, of which more than one fourth have been counted. So far, Prince Raj is continuously taking the lead in the counting of votes.
