Bihar Forest Guard recruitment PET exam cancelled, news about new exam date

Patna: Due to increasing cases of corona infection, it has been decided by the Central Selection Council to cancel the PST and PET examination slated for vacancy in forest and forest guard posts under the Department of Environment Forest and Climate Change. The physical proficiency test for forest guard vaccine was scheduled to be held from January 10 to 12, 2022. But it has also been cancelled due to corona.

CSBC said in its statement that e-dates will be announced on the board's portal and main newspapers shortly. In this case, candidates should protect their admit cards. Based on these admit cards, they will be given the opportunity to appear for the examination on new dates. Through this examination, appointments are to be made to 236 posts of Forester and 484 posts of Forest Guard.

The same infection is spreading between medical staff and doctors in Bihar. On Thursday, 15 doctors of Patna AIIMS and 12 doctors of Patna Medical College and Hospital were found infected with corona. With this, a total of 550 doctors, medical students and paramedical staff have been found to be infected with corona in Bihar so far. As corona cases increased in Bihar, people were seen in long queues to undergo RTPCR or antigen tests and get vaccinated in hospitals and health centres. The health department on Thursday detected 2379 patients in the state, the highest number of 1407 in Patna, followed by Gaya with 177 cases and Begusarai district 71.
