Patna: The double murder case in Bihar's Rohtas has created a sensation. When the former sarpanch was killed in a money transaction, the mob also beat the accused to death. According to the report, there was a fierce fight over dispute over money on boring in Jamuhar of Dehri Mofussil police station area of Rohtas. During this time, one side opened fire, in which the former sarpanch lost his life. After this, the family members of the other side beat the accused to death with sticks. The deceased have been identified as Anil Yadav and Satendra Singh alias Jhari Singh, both residents of Kanchanpur village under the Sasaram Mufassil police station area. This double murder took place in an old rivalry near Jamuhar and Kanchanpur. In connection with the incident, it is being told that there was a dispute between former sarpanch of Dhankadha Anil Yadav and Jhalera Singh over money transactions and there was a fight and firing, in which Jhalera Singh died on the spot due to bullet injuries. After the information of Jhalera Singh's murder, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. Then Jhalera Singh's men beat up and killed the former sarpanch, Anil Singh. Both the deceased were residents of Kanchanpur village. Police are camping in the area. Both the bodies have been kept for post-mortem at Narayan Medical College and Hospital in Jamuhar. Police from Dehri and Sasaram areas are deployed at the spot after tension prevailed in the village. Family members say that this incident has been carried out in an old rivalry. At the same time, villagers say that there was a fight between the two over money transactions.
