Vaishali: The district administration seems to be moving ahead with special arrangements in view of the security of the people and people in Chhath in the Maharastra of the folk faith during the crisis of Corona epidemic. People are constantly being appealed to avoid Corona infection, rather than going to the ghats and celebrate Chhath Puja in their homes. In Chhath Puja, people have great faith towards river ghats and Ganges water. In view of people's faith, the administration has started a campaign to deliver Ganga water from door to door. The administration has started tanker service to reach Ganga water to the Vratis. While issuing the number to get Ganga water from the administration, it has been said that on calling the number, the tanker will go to people's neighbourhoods and homes and provide Ganga water. Vaishali District Magistrate Udita Singh has flagged off these tankers with home delivery of Ganga water at Hajipur district headquarters on Wednesday. Regarding this, Vaishali DM Udita Singh said that this time Chhath festival is being celebrated in the midst of Corona crisis, therefore, this arrangement was done for those mothers and sisters who want to stay safe in the house and do not want to come to the Ghats. Ganga water will be delivered to their homes free of charge. Two numbers have been issued by the district administration. Ganga water can be called at home by calling both these numbers so that the festival of Chhath can be celebrated with full faith at home.
