Youth ODI: This cricketer gave all-round performance, India beat South Africa in second match

On the birthday, the all-round performance of Yashasvi Jaiswal (4/13, 89 *) helped India Under-19 team beat South Africa by eight wickets in the second youth ODI. With a second consecutive victory, India took an unassailable 2–0 lead in the three-match series. Yashasvi of Mumbai celebrated his 18th birthday with a victory on Saturday, December 28, 2019.

For your information, let us tell you that India first piled South Africa on 119 runs in 29.5 overs. Jonathan Bird scored 25 runs for him. Six batsmen could not reach even double digits. Yashasvi took the last four wickets. Akash Singh, Avi Ankolekar and Ravi Bishnoi also took 2-2 wickets.

Yashasvi-Dhruv added 94 runs: According to media reports, India achieved the target of 120 runs for victory by losing two wickets in 16.2 overs. Yashasvi shared an unbroken 94-run partnership for the third wicket with Dhruv Jurel (26). He hit 14 fours and three sixes in his innings facing 56 balls. Captain Priyam Garg (0) and S Rawat (02) were dealt cheaply. The Indian team won the first ODI by nine wickets. Rajasthan Royals bought Yashasvi for Rs 2.4 crore. After this the Indian team has to play the tri-series and then the World Cup.
