New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its election committee for the Delhi Assembly elections on Friday. The list announced by the BJP included the names of a total of 15 people, the top one being Delhi BJP unit president Manoj Tiwari. The names of all 7 MPs from Delhi have been included in this list. Along with this, the names of National General Secretary Anil Jain, National Vice President Dushyant Gautam, Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel have also been included. The 70-member Delhi Assembly will be voted on February 8, while the results will be released on February 11 by counting the votes. The term of the current Delhi Legislative Assembly ends on 22 February 2020. Meanwhile, the first list of Congress candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections will be released on Sunday after the Congress Chief Election Committee (CEC) meeting on Thursday. Giving information to the media, the senior party leader said that after the discussion during the CEC meeting on Saturday, the first list of candidates will be released on Sunday, in which about 2 dozen names can be included. BJP is currently focusing on its campaign.
