The stock market has opened with heavy downpour today on Wednesday due to increasing tension in West Asia. The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index Sensex opened today at 40,574.83, down nearly 294 points. Apart from this, till the time of writing the news, it has gone up to a minimum of 40,476.55 points. On one hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened today at 11,939.10 with a steep fall of 113.85 points. By the time of writing the news, it went up to a minimum of 11,929.60 points. The Sensex was trading 103.73 points down at 40,765.74 on Wednesday and the Nifty was down 40.05 points at 12,012.90 on Wednesday at 10.21. With this, at present, out of 50 companies of Nifty, the shares of 11 companies are shown on the green mark, 38 companies are on the red mark and one company shares are trading without any change.

In the opening trade today, among the companies included in the Nifty 50 on Wednesday, the shares of BPCL, EICHER MOTORS, LT, INFRATEL and ZEE ENTERTAINMENT ENTERPRISES companies have shown the biggest decline.

In the same opening trade today, YES BANK, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TCS, GRASIM, and BAJAJ-AUTO were the biggest gainers among the 50 stocks of Nifty companies of the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
