NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Subramanian Swamy has instructed the central government on social media that if Pakistan shuts down its airspace for Indian aircraft, so in response to this, India also should not allow Ships going to Karachi port to pass through the Arabian Sea.
In fact, Swamy's statement comes after reports claiming that Pakistan is planning to shut down its airspace for traffic operating from India. Pakistan can take such a decision after India repeals Section 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. "My advice to the Namo government," Swamy tweeted. If Pak closes its airspace for our commercial and civilian aircraft, India should close this route for ships going from the Arabian Sea (which needs to be renamed) to the port of Karachi. '
