This veteran BJP MLA accused officials of corruption

Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Shyam Prakash from Gopamau in Hardoi district accused the officials of corruption in the ongoing work in MNREGA on social media. MLA Shyam Prakash said on MNREGA that no steam is passed without commission. He said that if the officer stops taking bribe, then the head will also improve. No work is done here without bribe.

Shyam Prakash, MLA from Hardoi's Gopamau Legislative Assembly constituency, has spoken about the commission and corruption in MNREGA in his post on his Facebook. He wrote that MNREGA is the price of the sweat of poor labourers. If the officials stop taking a commission in this scheme only for the benefit of the poor and then take strict action then corruption will be stopped.
