Ballia: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Surendra Singh has made a big claim, calling the countrywide peasant movement as a 'sponsored strike of anti-national forces' in protest against the new agricultural law brought by the central government. MLA Surendra Singh has said that this movement of farmers is getting money from abroad. BJP MLA Singh of Ballia region of the district while talking to presspersons at his residence on Thursday night said, "Looking at the farmer movement, it seems that this is a dharna sponsored by anti-national forces and it is getting funding from abroad." He also alleged that "Just as the foreign forces were fueling the movement in Shaheenbagh, similarly the country-wide peasant movement being carried out against the new agricultural law is being fueled by foreign forces." MLA Surendra Singh alleged that "foreign forces want to destabilize the country under the guise of the movement." Only Khalistani thinkers are taking part in the movement. He further said, "The government should crush the movement by taunting the anti-national thinking forces and deal with such people strictly."
